Decision support, not legal advice. iComply is independent and is not affiliated with the Department of Education, the Social Services Regulator or Service Victoria. Victoria only. Rules last checked against the Department's policy and vic.gov.au. Your school still does the official check and connect in the Government's tools.
How we work it out
The same rules engine runs in the iComply app. Check the official pages if you're unsure.

7 days for workers and contractors, 21 days for volunteers. Record their end date in WWC Connect on the same clock when they stop. Council members: no deadline is published, so we use 21 days until it's confirmed.
Check the clearance in the WWC status checker before the person starts. People sent by another organisation are connected by that organisation, but you still check them.
